Based in Long Beach, California, IDS has developed a network of 37 autonomous dialysis facilities that reach from coast to coast and the Territory of Guam, providing care to over 3000 patients. In aggregate, this network of dialysis clinics would be in the top 10 of U.S. dialysis providers. Our experience is broad ranging from PD-only clinics to acute programs to combined multi-station hemodialysis/PD clinics.

Our lay volunteers, working in tandem with health professionals, are seeking the means to the prevention of kidney disease, while at the same time ensuring that those now suffering from these diseases receive the finest possible care.


National Organization for Renal Disease
The National Organization For Renal Disease provides critical, preventive medical and genetic research information to under-insured, under-served adults who have a high risk of developing renal (kidney) disease and its precursors. The organization is also working to transform the therapies and delivery systems used to treat renal disease and its precursors, diabetes and hypertension. NORD produces Health events, provide early warning, health screenings and health education programs and services for renal (kidney) function, blood glucose and blood pressure-along with related educational materials in English and Spanish.

The Renal Support Network (RSN) was founded by a kidney patient in 1993 to instill health, happiness, and hope into the lives of others affected by chronic kidney disease. RSN--a 501(c)3 nonprofit, patient-focused, patient-run organization--strives to help patients develop their personal coping skills, special talents, and employability by educating and empowering them, as well as their family members, to take control of the course and management of the disease.


>Logo Southern California Renal Disease Council
Southern California Renal Disease Council (SCRDC) / ESRD Network 18 is one of 18 organizations that serve as federal contractors to administer the ESRD Network Program by providing quality improvement, patient services and information management to CMS, providers and patients. The SCRDC area covers 13 California counties from the Mexican and Arizona/Nevada borders to the central California coastal area and inland. There are approximately 280 member dialysis facilities including 18 renal transplant centers in the area, providing treatment to more than 26,000 dialysis patients and approximately 10,000 transplant recipients. Our mission is to provide leadership and assistance to renal dialysis and transplant facilities in a manner that supports continuous improvement in patient care, outcomes, safety and satisfaction.
